Making Stuff and Doing Things: A Collection
of DIY Guides to Doing Just About Everything: (5.5"
x 8.5," 250 pgs, offset printed) by Kyle Bravo. This is actually a real
book, not a zine, though much of the contents were taken from Kyle's How2 Zine
he put out many years ago. This is a huge collection of DIY/How2 articles on
how to do all kinds of stuff: gardening, making wine, fixing bikes, holistic
pet care, fixing toilets, wheatpasting, silkscreening, playing guitar, bookbinding,
getting rid of fruit flies, and so much more! $10
Me, Dead:
(5.75" diameter, silkscreen, edition
of 50) by Kyle Bravo. This item is a "thaumatrope," a device invented
in the early 19th century. On one side there is an image of Kyle's bust, on
the other a skull. To work the thaumatrope you must wind it up then release
it allowing it to spin freely, superimposing each image on top of the other.

Power
of Oil: (11.5"
x 3," vinyl stickers) by Tatum Neill. Tatum created these stickers as a
spoof of the "Power of Pride" stickers that popped up everywhere across
America after September 11th. Tatum's intention was for the stickers to be covertly
placed atop "Power of Pride" stickers found on SUVs. Of course you
can stick them anywhere else you want too. $2
Ways to Use a Lance:
(3" x 4," 22 pgs, 3-color screenprint with wraparound)
by Claire Rau. This is an accordion book showing images of men jousting on horseback.
From the left to the center of the book one man incrementally raises his lance
to fight, while from the right to the center of the book another man faces off
to fight - a creative use of the accordion format. Beautiful 2-sided print job
on translucent paper that allows a soft, decorative pattern of hands holding
lances to show through from the back of the page. $50

Kyle Bravo: Sad
& Drunken Songs From Times Long Since Passed: (29
min, CDR) by Kyle Bravo. This is Kyle's 3rd solo album of songs recorded from
1999 to 2002. All of Kyle's songs are real short (about 30 - 60 seconds), with
a raw, lo-fi sound. Playfully sad songs that are stylistically a blend of folk,
punk, and pop. All the covers were wiped out by Katrina so for the time being
you can just get a plain old CDR with no packaging. CDR
